Projects That Leave a Mark.
At V. Lindsay, students don’t just complete assignments. They create things that didn’t exist before they got here.
Book Writing Project
Every student has a story worth telling. In our Book Writing Project, students research, write, illustrate, and publish their own original books. This isn’t a creative writing exercise — it’s a full author experience. Students develop their voice, build literacy skills, and walk away with a finished, published work they can hold in their hands and share with the world. When a V. Lindsay student says “I’m an author,” they mean it.
Podcast Project
In a world driven by voice and media, V. Lindsay students learn to use both with purpose. In our Podcast Project, students research topics that matter to them, write scripts, record episodes, and produce their own original podcast content. They develop communication skills, media literacy, critical thinking, and the confidence to share their perspective with an audience. And with our in-school podcast studio opening by June 2026, this project is about to reach an entirely new level.
Student Life
At V. Lindsay, school isn’t something that happens to your child. It’s something they live, experience, and remember for the rest of their lives.
This Is What a Full Education Looks Like.
Academics are the foundation. But student life is where children discover who they are.
At V. Lindsay, the school day doesn’t end when the bell rings and the school year isn’t just a series of lessons and tests. It’s a full experience — rich with programs, performances, projects, field trips, cultural celebrations, and community. Every activity, every club, every event is designed with the same intention as our classrooms: to develop the whole child. Spiritually. Academically. Personally.
When your child looks back on their years at V. Lindsay, they won’t just remember what they learned. They’ll remember what they did, what they created, where they went, and who they became along the way.
“Every child at V. Lindsay has a place to belong — inside the classroom and beyond it.”
Find Your Thing. Then Get Really Good at It.
V. Lindsay offers clubs and activities designed to meet every student where their gifts are — whether that’s on a stage, at a chessboard, on a dance floor, or in a competition.
Chess Club
Chess teaches strategy, patience, critical thinking, and the discipline to think three moves ahead. Our Chess Club welcomes students at every skill level — from first-time players to serious competitors. More than a game, chess develops the kind of mind that solves problems nobody else can see coming.
Choir
Music is worship. Music is community. Music is one of the most powerful gifts a child can develop. V. Lindsay’s Choir gives students the opportunity to develop their voices, perform for their community, and experience the deep joy of making something beautiful together. Our choir performs at school programs, church events, and community celebrations throughout the year.
Dance
Movement is expression. V. Lindsay’s Dance program gives students a creative outlet that builds confidence, coordination, discipline, and artistry. Students learn to tell stories through movement and perform for their school community at our signature programs and events.
Math Olympics
For students who love the thrill of a challenge, Math Olympics is where competitors are made. Students sharpen their mathematical reasoning, compete against their peers, and represent V. Lindsay with excellence. This program has produced some of our sharpest academic minds and most confident problem-solvers.
Every Season Has Something Worth Showing Up For.
V. Lindsay’s school year is anchored by a calendar of signature programs and events that bring our entire community together. These aren’t just school events. They are moments our families talk about for years.
Pumpkin Patch Field Trip
Every fall, our youngest learners head to the pumpkin patch for one of the year’s most beloved traditions. It’s hands-on, joyful, and a perfect reminder that learning happens everywhere — not just inside four walls.
Hispanic Heritage Program
V. Lindsay is proud to be a school that celebrates the cultures and contributions of every family we serve. Our annual Hispanic Heritage Program is a vibrant, student-led celebration of Latin culture, history, language, and identity. It is one of the most joyful events of the school year and a powerful statement about who we are as a community.
Thanksgiving Program
Gratitude is a spiritual practice. Our annual Thanksgiving Program brings the school community together to reflect on what we’ve been given, celebrate the people around us, and remember that thankfulness is not a season — it’s a way of life.
Christmas Program
The V. Lindsay Christmas Program is one of the most anticipated events of the year. Students from every grade come together to celebrate the birth of Christ through music, performance, and worship. Families fill the seats, voices fill the room, and for one evening, the whole community is reminded of what really matters.
Black History Program
V. Lindsay’s Black History Program is a full community celebration of the legacy, excellence, and ongoing contributions of Black Americans. Students research, present, perform, and honor the men and women whose shoulders we all stand on. This program is not a checkbox — it is a cornerstone of who we are.
STEAM Fair
The V. Lindsay STEAM Fair is where academic excellence goes public. Students design and present original science, technology, engineering, arts, and math projects to judges, families, and community members. The STEAM Fair is a showcase of everything our students are capable of when given the space to create, ask questions, and solve real problems.
Field Day
Field Day is pure joy. Students come together for a full day of outdoor games, team challenges, and friendly competition. It’s a celebration of physical activity, teamwork, and the kind of school community where everyone belongs and everyone has fun.
8th Grade Graduation
Graduation from V. Lindsay is a milestone moment — for students and for families. After years of faith formation, academic challenge, and character development, our 8th graders walk across that stage as young men and women who know who they are, know their gifts, and are ready for whatever comes next.
